A: These drugs are prescription only and used in the treatment of breast cancer. I take Arimidex (for breast cancer), which is an anti-oestrogen drug for post-menopausal women. I don’t know what you want them for, but if you don’t HAVE to take any of these, be bloody grateful. Arimidex is a bone weakening drug, I’m just so glad I only have to take it for another two and a half years.

Edit** Midnight, if it was for breast cancer, the appropriate drug would be prescribed either free of charge or at a cost of £6.65 (approx $13) depending on her/his circumstances.

Okay, im 17 years old. && i have a horrible shopping addiction ! no, im not like all the other girls tht claim they’re “shopaholics” when they spend $100 on jeans && $300 at a clothing store. Im serious. My parents are upper middle class. But my parents dont feed my shopping addictionn. My grandmother does. She means everything to me && im putting her in soo much debt && I feel terrible about it but I dont know what to do. Most all my shopping, for clothes anyways is done online. My parents buy me things, pretty much anything I want. Im spoiled. But, its hard to explain, but the problem is the reason I dont ask my parents to buy me stuff && I ask my grandma is because I feel guilty if I ask my mom to spend loads of money on me, even though we can afford it && my grandma cant. My grandma is 78 && this is her 2nd time around with cancer. I feel terrible. Im crying about it right now. Its terrible. Shes in $20,000 of debt && its all because of ME. Ive even tried to stop my habit (or addiction) by blocking her computer to where you cant order things on it. But now all I do is ask her for her credit card && go home and order clothes (and other things) off my computer. I just want to know how to stop being such a bad person and doing this to her. Im such a jealous person. In relationships Im jealous thats why my boyfriend of 2 and a half years broke up with me. Anytime I see someone out with a Louie I want ANOTHER one even though I have 6 ! I order stuff online and tell myself I wont do it again and then next week Im doing it all over again. Ive had her buy me so much that she cant even buy her monthly perscription of Arimidex (her cancer meds + she takes chemo) thats $400. And she could have had that $400 but Im having her buy me Juicy Couture purses && jewelry, Tiffany charms && bracelets, Louie bags. Im so mad at myself because its gotten really bad lately because Im going on vacation next month and she bought me a Louie Vuitton luggage set. && I didnt need it ! I just wanted to look good ! To me life is all about appearances. I know my thinking is so out of line thats why I need help. Please give me advice on how to stop being so jealous of what everyone has && stop impulse buying online with my grandmas credit card. Please. && please dont leave any rude answers.

A: Honey, reaching out is a good start~ get yourself to a support group for addictions and tell grand-mom to cut up her credit cards so you and she can’t use them anymore. Do not put this old woman who clearly loves you through losing her home over your shopping addiction. For her not be able to buy her cancer medication is a travesty and speaks to how out of control you are in your addiction. Life is not about appearances but what’s inside and how you treat other people….you can lose a hand bag, but you only have one grandmother….remember that….and you are better than all the “stuff” you buy…don’t let it control you…jealously comes from within not without….do something you will be proud of….no ashamed in the end…love yourself more than your Tiffany charms and luggage…may sound silly but it’s true….things are just things….under all of that it’s why you shop not the shopping itself you will have to figure out, and try not to let others enable you, like your sweet grandmother…this web site may help

is there any health insurance that would sell to a breast cancer patient? my mother dont have cancer anymore she was diagnosed and treated in 2004, now we dont have the medical coverage we had so i need to find a new health care insurance company that would sell to us…i called anthem blue today and they denied us becuase my mother medication for her cancer call Arimidex that they dont cover. any cancer patient out there can help me with this? like recommend a health insurance that they are buying from now? i would really appreciate if someone help me out becuase my mom has a new tumor now (after almost 5 year) , and this tumor is in her neck and im really worry about her, and we need health care coverage. thanks.

A: Check into your states programs for HIGH RISK insurance pools.

Almost every state has this kind of insurance for people who’ve been denied by private insurance companies.

Also, if you are low income your mom would probably qualify for low cost or free medical insurance.
