A: Why risk your health on a dodgy product? A school friend of mine used to sell rat poison to 4th formers telling them it was good drugs – and those are people she knew pretty well. Anyone can sell anything over the internet – they don’t care who you are, they only care about your money.

Go to your doctor and go the safe, reliable route. Just my advice, you’ll do whatever you want to do.

Hi i am 20 and have been trying for a baby with my fiance for 29mths now and in june ‘07 i had a m/c (which was devastating) and right after that i have been diagnosed with PCOS. I dont know why but every month we try i get negative! anyone ever feel this way if so how did u over come it? i have taken clomid and femara! i just bought instead soft cups adn i am fixing to order preseed! i also take evening primrose oil to help with cm. we time BDing accurately. we eat healthy, we exercise, and we love each other very much. Its just everywhere we turn there is something to do with a baby! My mom sends us stuff all the time(like a bottle, ,a bib, or baby clothes!) she wants a grandbaby bad and his dad does it too! he always talks about! wecant get away i was hoping this month was my month but i am very negative! i was jsut wanting baby dust for the next 3 months and i want/need loads of it! and help u can give on ttc or just wishin me luck will be grate

Ok ppl dont give stupid answers! if ur 13 u shouldnt be in the ttc section! i want a kid so dont tell me i dont! i dont want to think about adoption Yet! and dont ask stupid questions! “should we pray for you!”

Q: Should I get my hopes up?
On Saturday I went to my Gynocologist for a fertility consult (I already had all my tests done) to see why I haven’t been getting pregnant and she said it’s becasue I’m not ovulating. She prescribed me 2 drugs: Prometrium to make me start my period (because I don’t get my period every month) and Femara to make me ovulate. She told me to buy a Ovulation kit and have sex on the day I surge and the 2 days following and boom I would be pregnant. Has anyone ever been on these drugs and gotten pregnant? She told me to start taking them on March 1 and by the end of March I would be pregnant. Should I be getting my hopes up so soon? Are these pills likely to work or will I be very disappointed? I can’t help feeling so excited and anxious. Please tell me what you think and your experiences with these drugs if you’ve used them. Thank you.

Oh and could you please tell me some good ovulation kits to use? my Gyn. recomended one but it cost $50.00. I wanted to find something a little less expensive.

A: The drugs your dr. has prescribed should help your chances of conceiving. But honestly to guarantee you that you’ll get pregnant is pretty irresponsible of her. The drugs should help you and as long as you have good timing (i strongly suggest charting your cycle) you should be good. In any given month with perfect timing and no IF issues for either partner there is only a 20% chance of becoming pregnant.
